Be on the next release of this CD!  Join the Progressive artists recording in words and music what really happened in Ohio last fall.  Add your part of the story of Ohio's phony 2004 presidential election and the media blackout.  

Since logic & reason have failed us, we'll reach into America’s conscience through its right brain.  “Ohio in the Dark” brings into the light the fight for democracy in Ohio and other states during and in the months following the election.  

The honest music and poetry disperse the smokescreen covering the valiant efforts of patriotic citizens in the recounts, demonstrations, hearings, legal actions and rallies that were held to expose the fraudulent election manipulation and voter disenfranchisement that made possible the hijacking of our federal government.

Distribution methods are still being worked out.  The CD may sell for a small nominal amount to cover costs on Amazon.com and on Madog Music’s website via PayPal.  All songs on the CD will eventually be free MP3 downloads at www.madogmusic.com and many other sites.  

The contributing artists encourage you to copy and distribute the music on this CD far and wide.  Spread the word to musicians and poets with a story to tell, to add their voice to "Ohio in the Dark".

The Free America Project is a series of planned media releases, first CD's, then videos and radio show features, centering around the current Christo-Fascist takeover of the federal government of the United States of America.

The corporate-owned media have failed this nation.  Local and network TV and radio newscasts, as well as local and national newspapers, have not only failed to report any information about this, but have acted as White House press department, have openly covered up and misconstrued incriminating stories and facts and even invented disinformation to keep Ohio and America in the dark.  For this reason we must get the information out there ourselves.  We must "be the media".

Since logic & reason have failed us, we'll try reaching into America’s conscience through its right brain to get the message across.  “Ohio in the Dark” is the first CD in the series, centered around the fight for democracy in Ohio and other states during and in the months following the election.  The next CD in the series will be "Corporate War", a musical and poetic look at corporate domination in America.  Submit songs and poetry for "Corporate War" and "Ohio in the Dark" contact Gary Polvinale at Madog Music.  All CD's in this project will have cumulative releases as new submissions are added to the existing tracks on the CD's.

You might find it refreshing to hear music and poetry that cuts through the White House propaganda dispensed through the corporate-owned media cartel.  Straight talk never gets old.  Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger changed the face of America with their music.  So can we.
