Mind ~ Body ~ Spirit

You see it everywhere these days, but what does it mean?  It’s a connection that is so important for all of us.  It’s what makes you a whole, well-rounded person.  Strengthening that connection helps you to better deal with everyday life.  It means that you connect what you do physically with your mental and emotional state and your spiritual ideals.   It means not doing anything mindlessly, but instead with thoughtful concentration.  It means living in the moment.

How do you strengthen that connection?  Mind-Body practices like Yoga, Tai Chi and Qi Gong are excellent.  To do them properly, you must learn to harness the energies of your mind, your spirit and your body together and work harmonically to achieve your goal.  Even if you

don’t know how to do it now, these practices will teach how to bring all of your power together in the moment to improve your life every day.  Reiki and Healing Touch or Therapeutic Touch are healing methods that also help you to focus and improve your life.  If you’re not involved in a mind-body practice now, it is essential to start today.

Learning to harness that connection keeps you in the moment and allows you to deal with the stress at hand. A regular mind-body practice helps you stay in the moment for more time in your life. And living in the moment makes you a less stressed-out person. A regular mind body practice enables you to better deal with stress, anger and frustration, so you treat people better and enhance your relationships.
