GOP's Standards
Comments from all around

Printed in the Portland Oregonian: "Other than telling us how to live, think, marry, pray, vote, invest, educate our children and, now, die, I think the Republicans have done a fine job of getting government out of our personal lives."

Add to the list: what we can do in the bedroom, who we do it with, how we handle the result and what our rights are two weeks before we conceive.

Comment from the AFL-CIO Blog re Romney's 47%: Well, it's about time the jerk(romnuts) told the truth about SOMETHING, just how much he hates the working class, older people and students!! He despises us!! He is nothing but a pure asshole!! Guess what romnuts, most of these people would love to be paying taxes, that would mean they HAD A DAMN JOB!!! And the ones who do have jobs making little to nothing are paying 16%, how about YOU ROMNUTS?, you pay 11% on your billions!! Money you made outsoursing and closing down factories in OUR country!! Not to mention the fact that you started out with a gold spoon up your ass, from your daddy!! Not to mention the $100,000,000 trust you have for your 5 little spoiled rotten boys!! That's only $20,000,000 a piece!! I hope they can make it on such a piddly amount!! Romnuts makes me sick to my stomach and I'll ddo anything to keep his ass OUT of the White House!! What a pompous jerk!! Vote him down and out!!

Whatever It Takes

The right-wing is pushing through the "holy" legislation like a dam broke, most of it against unions' and women's rights. And when Democrats finally do speak up, they get locked up or silenced, made an example of... "whatever it takes." Assigned an "action item" by their corporate bosses, Republicans are doing what they do best... "can-do robotics". "Corporate terrorism" is oppression in its most blatant and unabashed form. Dems better open eyes, take a gander at what's happening and stop playing politics as usual, because it's no longer a game.

Corporations are not people. And the terrorism being put forth by corporations through the religious right is killing people and destroying the fabric of America. "We don't do that kind of thing in America," is no longer true. After it's over and done in Nov, writing something like this will land us in jail. That's why my stops are out too.
